About National HIV & AIDS Strategy (2011-2015)
The current National Strategic Plan on HIV and AIDS (2006-2010) is ending this year and already the National AIDS Council Secretariat has commenced the process of developing the new 5-year national plan to effectively address the HIV epidemic in PNG. NACS through the NHS Core Group has conducted numerous consultations in the four regions of PNG with all relevant stakeholders to gauge ideas, thoughts, and inputs towards the development of this new strategy. Special meetings were also conducted amongst groups such as Youth, PLHIVs, MSM, FSW, BAHA, the PNG Trade Union Congress and three village locations.

This One Day Consultation Pack contains the draft NHS, Feedback Form, Consultation Facilitator's Guide, Regional Consultation Feedback and four PowerPoint presentations which you can use to run a one-day workshop on the draft NHS with your staff and beneficiaries.
